June 28 - Book Launch

On June 28, beginning at 7:00, we will be celebrating the launch of Charles A. L. Dubois' "The Filcher's Forge."

Earth is a place where a single species has ever dominated the race for sentience. Earth is a place where physics are utilized by machines that maintain the balance and nurture the evolution of civilizations. Earth is a place where spirituality exists only as a catalyst for social control, if it exists at all. Forget everything you know about your world. Leave it behind. Welcome to Junoth.

When a nature-born dryad finds himself trapped in a world of human industry and enslaved to the will of an ambitious pirate, he is forced to fight for his freedom. What he finds instead reinforces the fact that friendship is often forged in the most unlikely of places.

About the author:

Charles was raised in rural Westman, an area describing the south-western portion of the prairie province Manitoba. He attended school in the small towns of Souris and Wawanesa, eventually making his home in Brandon.

Charles has been writing stories from Junoth ever since he’s known how to write. His very first Junoth story was entitled “The Swordster” and was written at age 6. Since then he has been developing the world, its history, and its people.

If every entity in this universe is a world unto itself, then Charles is best described by the world he writes from. “I have never been nor will likely ever be as interesting as the characters I’ve created.” – Charles A.L. Dubois

Congratulations to Charles Dubois on today's book launch of his latest work.
I liked the preamble here about your books ..guess I'll have to check out your work.
I found your bio quite interesting. It gave me pause to think about what my own passion was at 6 years of age.

Also thank you to Pennywise Books for acknowledging local writers such as Mr. Dubois.
